Thoughts and Feelings
Right now my heart is thankful for all the things in my life; my husband, my children and the gospel of Jesus Christ. So far, my children have been mostly happy and healthy and today began like most others. Rachel had her first field trip to the fire station and Nathan had a doctor's appointment. One of Nathan's tests this past July was borderline problematic, so we were sent to the cardiologist to make sure everything was okay. As it turns out, the problem has not been totally solved yet. The doctor performed both an an EKG and an Echocardiogram. The Echocardiogram turned out fine, but the EKG still did not show the results we were looking for. The doctor decided to run 3 more EKG's with Nathan doing a little excercise to even out his heartrate - still not the best results. The doctor is going to forward Nathan's EKG's on to an Electrocardiologist at a teaching hospital in our state for further scrutiny. We may have to do a heart stress test next week if the Electrocardiologist feels it is necessary. If things don't turn around - Nathan may have a diagnosis that would have life altering consequences. We are praying that everything will be turn out fine, and hope you keep Nathan in your prayers as well.
